We help manufacturers and brands take Amazon sales in-house, eliminate dependence on third-party resellers, gain control of brand messaging, and build more profitable marketplace operations - without hiring an internal Amazon team.
Our founder leveraged Amazon to grow an eight-figure global brand from scratch and exited to private equity. We apply an experienced ownership mentality to your Amazon sales channel. Our perspective ↗
CHANNEL OWNERSHIP
Your products. A channel you control.
Selling through resellers and operating your own Amazon channel are different business models.
Highline helps you establish and operate a brand-owned Amazon channel. You retain the seller relationship and make the business decisions. We bring the operational support to turn that strategy into everyday execution.
RESELLER-LED
A channel at arm’s length.
Resellers control their seller accounts, offers, and execution. Your visibility into the channel can be limited.
→
BRAND-OWNED, HIGHLINE-MANAGED
A channel you can lead.
Your business owns the seller account, with a coordinated plan for listings, advertising, inventory, and reporting.

Highline is led by Scott Herz, who used his own capital to build a global consumer brand from scratch, ran its Amazon business in-house, and grew it to eight figures in sales before exiting to private equity.
Running Amazon in-house, Scott made the same calls Highline’s clients face today: what to launch, how much inventory to allocate, and where advertising could drive profitable sales. His corporate development and M&A experience informs how he weighs those decisions against the company’s broader growth plans and long-term value.
Highline brings that perspective to manufacturers and brand owners who want a more direct role in their Amazon business, supported by an experienced operating partner.
COMMON QUESTIONS
A few practical details.
Who is an ideal client for Highline?+
Highline is a good fit for manufacturers and brand owners with established products who want to sell directly on Amazon, but lack the internal expertise. That includes companies that rely on resellers or sell wholesale to Amazon. Highline prefers established brands with loyal customers and $3 million to $50 million in annual online sales, whether direct or through resellers.
Can you help our established brand start selling on Amazon?+
Yes. The scope can include Seller Central setup support, catalog preparation, advertising planning, and FBA replenishment coordination. We first assess your products and readiness to define a practical starting point.
Can you help entrepreneurs launch new products?+
Possibly. Before we can tell whether Highline is a good fit, we need to understand the market potential for your product, your funding, and what your team can handle in-house. We also look at your manufacturing, warehousing, and quality control processes. We typically work with established brands, but we’re happy to discuss your plans and where we might help. Tell us about your product.
Is Highline a reseller?+
No. A reseller relationship can serve a brand for a time. When the brand sees a path to better margins by selling directly, that relationship may have run its course. Highline helps you own your Amazon seller account and sell directly. We aim to be the operating partner you can keep working with as your business grows.
Who owns the account and inventory?+
Your company owns the seller account and inventory, approves advertising budgets, and handles stock replenishment. Highline provides the agreed marketplace management, coordination, and training (see our services). We define responsibilities together at the start.
Do we need to end our reseller relationships?+
That depends on your existing agreements and channel strategy. We assess the current landscape with your team before defining a transition plan. Opening a seller account does not automatically remove existing sellers from Amazon product pages. We help you evaluate reseller relationships and conflicting sales channels as well as MAP, MSRP and other pricing policies and strategies.
We have a Vendor Central account and sell wholesale to Amazon. Can we switch to Seller Central and capture more margin?+
We can help you compare the economics of selling wholesale to Amazon with selling through Seller Central. We can review your current terms, expected retail prices, and selling costs to see whether a switch makes sense for your business.
Many resellers of our products currently compete for the Featured Offer or "buy box" on Amazon. How can we be sure that we will be able to take their place and sell direct?+
Highline can review your current reseller offers, distribution arrangements, pricing, and fulfillment options to help forecast the likelihood of success before you commit to the transition.
